Calling out generations is agism and therefore discrimination based on age, hence unethical and non-compliant!
This is because aggregating people by age and giving them a diagnose is a generalization that is detrimental and unfair for minorities in such groups. For example, grouping attitude to ethics and AI skills is unintentionally limiting. In my experience proficiency isn’t strictly tied to a generation – it depends more on curiosity, exposure, and willingness to learn. I’ve seen many cases where older professionals mentor younger ones in AI or Ethics, yet narratives often suggest the opposite.

Wouldn’t it be more productive to focus on individual skills or attributes rather then on generational generalizations? Otherwise, we risk reinforcing stereotypes that may not serve organizations well in fostering diverse and inclusive learning environments.
